Uploading: corner attach (v4~recovered).avi…
Well wish me luck I really stretched my CAD/Fusion 360 part of my brain. I might have hurt something lol.

Of course, I had to incorporate some styling cues from ThA’ MACHIN’!

I feel like I’m missing some context.

These mount on the corners of a table using that pocket on the right side?

Yes with shims or maybe even bottom screws if needed/allowed… I’m trying to make the model parametric to adjust for any table with enough overhang and square corners. However I did not relate something when projecting to a sketch in fusion so it all goes pear shaped when adjusting those values… I might just use triangle shaped shims to snug things up.

Considering the direction of force on the anchor points, I would expect that plus the lever action of this against the corner is potentially going to be problematic.

I would also worry about it being purely 3D printed, as I would expect a decent (enough to matter, even if miniscule in other contexts) amount of flex in the plastic as modeled (e.g. Potentially not being a CF filament when printed, plus also not having a ‘tang’-like extension into the table and being relatively lightweight).

Will the belt ends have enough room to turn? It looks to crowded.

Great input I will be load testing it once installed with pull force scale and checking for deflection and modding from there. I wasn’t planning on using the table for cutting but if the deflection is minimal at 40LBS +10% for overhead it might work. Now I just have to FAAFO.

I modeled in the clearance for the belt ends. It’s not a great image capture.

If flex in the bracket itself, rather than where it connects to the table, ends up being the only issue, 2 hollows with long bolts running through it should help. stacked in the direction of the worst flex, of course.

If the flex is more vertical than horizontal, you’d want to have one rod above the other, if the flex was more horizontal, you’d want them to be side by side. Could always do 3 in an equilateral triangle for working against both directions.
