What is it?

Would you be willing to add a .svg or .dxf file so that the design could be more easily made? It’s hard to generate gcode from .jpg files

No name, no number. I guess region wise the main suspect would be me, but nope.
I will have it translated. Arabic calligraphy is beautiful but often hard to read.

In case it helps, it seems like it came from here: https://kaligrafi–islam.blogspot.com/2016/01/kaligrafi-al-quran-surah-nuur-ayat-35.html - has the Calligraphers name, which leads to his twitter: https://twitter.com/nahrysa3eed?lang=en, Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CalligraphyNahry and his +972 number would suggest he is Palestinian - he has some pretty amazing other ones which also look like they would be a great fit for a Maslow.

A bit more info - from hovering over the picture I can see the title is “allah nuurus samawat” which seems likely to be Aayah 35 in the 24th Surah: https://fafirrooelaallaah.wordpress.com/2007/10/21/surah-noor-ayah-35/ therefore suggesting that the writing roughly translates as “God is the Light of the heavens and the earth” - not my translation!

My friend Mohamed is a little slow today :slight_smile:
But this is nailed down to the originator of the art.
Who posted it and why?
It’s a great challenge to trace and carve with a v-bit.
At least we know it is not radical/extremist and not offensive or insulting.

I just put in a pull request for .svg and .dxf versions. Since the creator of the project is unknown, I’m not sure if it will be approved, put to a vote, or what. If nothing happens, I can always post the files to this thread.

I notice that Robot.MD doesn’t have a value for ModerationLevel. Doesn’t it need ‘ModerationLevel = communityManaged’ to allow merges by other than the Facilitator: Noorshams?
