Cnc y-axis cutting not the same deeping

Hi all,

I have a problem, when i cut mdf board 18mm and deeping for 2mm, every time when goes around, it is back to y-axis 0, he start not from the same position. And that’s every time. There is a Mach3 software show that goes to zero, but it really isn’t.
I used a Stepperoline DM542T, and a Stepperoline 23HS45-4204S engine.

Are you sure you are using a Maslow type machine? I haven’t seen one built which works with Mach3 or stepper motors before.

I think you might be looking for advice on a more traditional type CNC router which we’re not the right place for :stuck_out_tongue:
