# Could this be rigged to cut much larger materials?

If the materials were say 8 feet tall and 25 feet long could you set this system up to cut it?  
Are there any considerations you would have to keep in mind?

you could, the issues would be that you would need something taller and wider to  
anchor the motors to (to keep the angles to sane values), and you would get some  
distortion from the chain sag (and probably need stronger motors due to the  
chain weight if you use the stock type of chain)

you can see the angles and motor force needed in the spreadsheet that I put  
together that lets you define any size machine and see what the resulting forces  
look like.
