Hey everyone. We are trying to set up our Maslow and have been following the Youtube videos from Homesmith since there’s nothing in the assembly guide about connecting the electronics to the frame or attaching the chains. The black string that Homesmith uses looks WAY smaller than the string we received. We cannot figure out how on earth it will loop to attach to the chain without the knot catching. Please help.
Excuse me, by smaller I mean skinnier. Ours is thicker and shorter.
You mean the bungee cord? Can you include a picture? Where did you obtain the kit from? You can use stretchy cord from a hardware store. Although I used weights.
it’s better to use weights with twine or rope, many people throw away the bungee because it doenst’ work that well.
