# How often do Control Boards need replacing?

How often do the control boards need replacing? Someone said they go out quite often.

I noticed While assembling the Maslow that if I didn’t screw the circuit board down to the top of the router it was securely suspended by the various wires that are plugging into a. It seems like if it wasn’t fastened down it would experience less vibrations which might be causing the control boards to die quicker.

Anyone tried this?

we had one batch of bad boards, but I haven’t heard of many failures other than  
that.
