I just posted a new video on creating GCode, Check it out!

Bar and I like to try out different options for CAM software whenever we hear about a new one and I’ve really started to like KrabzCAM. At first I thought it was clunky but know that I’ve used it a couple times I really have started to appreciate it’s versatility more. I hope this video can help people through that initial learning curve. Here is the link if you want to experiment with it [KrabzCAM](https://mkrabset.github.io/krabzcam/krabzcam/index.html)

I’m really loving Krabz too.

My biggest gripe though… You can create a circle, triangle, 4 sided-9sided shapes… But why not a damn line??? Lol

Other than I’m not able to create a simple line, I love it! Very simple and fast.

Thank you to whoever created it!

right? That would be great! sometimes I find I need one little edit and I end up going back to the SVG to add it instead

We cannot have that! 🙂

I’ve just added support for creating polylines.
Just hit ‘2’, add points with mouse button, and complete with ‘enter’.

You can also lock axis with x / y during this operation.

best regards

If you have an ad blocker, can you try this again with it turned off just in case it’s clobbering a web browser element it’s not supposed to? I’ve not run into this, but I check ad blockers first whenever something disappears that shouldn’t l. If it makes a difference then put in an exception for the site or dig into the specific filter responsible.

Thank you for your comment, this didnt seem to work, but g-code does showup if i have 2 generated codes. as below. But when i only generate 1 then it doesnt show up. im not sure why this is.

Yes I’ve seen this! I think you just add your file name and then hit save. The list with the check boxes only shows up if you have multiple tool paths. But if you only have the one tool path I think it just assumes you want that Gcode and doesnt show the list.

Yes, @anna is correct.
It only shows the list if there are more than one toolpath.
Otherwise, just hit ‘save’. 🙂

It has been about a month, was using KrabzCam in Chrome. Worked great at the time. Now the load/import buttons don’t work. Went over to Safari, load/import work but save/export are blocked. Looked at my settings don’t see anything obvious.

Firefox is working on a different computer.

Just tested on my end and it seems to be working in chrome. @mkrabset do you have any ideas what could be up?

Hi, I’m not able to reproduce this.
Do you see any error messages in the browser console log? (hit F12 , console tab)

When running a different browser, the only difference should be your local settings, stored in the browser local storage.
Maybe you can try removing the KrabzCAM-stuff from local storage?
In Chrome this should be F12 → Application → Storage → Local storage → [https://mkr](https://mkr)…

Remove all the key/value pairs, restart and test again.

Try turning off ad blocking if you haven’t already as part of your troubleshooting. Likewise, if you have added an all network ad blocker like PiHole since it last worked, try temporarily disabling that to test as well.

I tried a simple 200x200mm square drawn in Inkscape today. It looks fine, but the G code seems to lack a lot of the info. Am I missing something?

I found the culprit. I had set the target depth as negative (-12.02). Sorry for wakening the sleeping thread 😃
