Ipad with Maslow 4

My Ipad won’t auto connect to the Maslow 4 web interface. It wants to connect via a web search engine like Google or Duck Duck Go. With no internet connection, apart from the Maslow network, all I get is ‘Safari can’t connect, no internet connection. Any one else have this problem?

v1.18 included fixes in faking out clients to avoid the ‘not connected to the
internet’ messages, what version are you on.

try typing http://maslow.local or http://192.168.0.1 instead of just the name

also, put this in the URL bar, not the search box

Sorry I took so long to reply. I am at v1.17. I was able to connect by connecting to my home wifi via my Ipad. I found out Apple programmed Ipad to default to a search engine website before it will do anything else on the internet. I typed http://192.168.0.1 and got the same message until it was able to find Google or Duck Duck Go, then it connected to my Maslow through Google. I don’t like it, I would rather connect to the machine directly, but it is what it is.

I’ll do the upgrade and see if it is better. Thanks
