# M2 upgrade spring specs?

Does anyone happen to know the new M2 upgrade spring specs. Gauge? Length? Lbs? Working limit? Anything will help please just trying to get some stuff upgraded while waiting for new kits.

Don’t know about the M2, but something like this “should” do the job (less than $5)

FYI:
if you are here looking for the correct spring for the XL 12’ wide top beam then the regular homedepot/ace hardware/lowes mentioned above 9/16" x 16 1/2" long x 0.54" spring WILL NOT WORK IS TOO WEAK WILL STRETCH OUT …YOUR CHAINS WILL BECOME SLACK
if you are using the XL 12’ top beam configuration then you need the Home Depot / Everbilt 1-1/8 inch x 16 inch x 0.105 inch extension spring which was $8.68 as of 2/19/2022
I tried other 1/2" diameter springs from Home Depot and Lowes and Ace Hardware all similar to what comes with M2 Makermade kit and they all stretched out and could no longer function…Home Depot / Everbilt 1-1/8 inch x 16 inch x 0.105 was the only one that worked properly…again, this is for the 12’ top beam configuration of machine
