it’s not good, try slowing your feed rate and see if that helps. If not it’s a
problem with your anchor locations.

do you see this when jogging or when cutting (or both)?

my feed rate as far as my cutting speed?, it just started when i was jogging haven’t tried to cut yet, i had moved my cutting speed up 50 ipm but wasn’t cutting yet so it shouldn’t have affected it

A tiny bit of slack is probably not something that you need to worry about, but if it’s impacting your cut accuracy you might want to try running find anchor points with a larger grid (or your grid set to 0mm x 0mm so it can compute the right size automatically)

its slacking enough to where they are drooping to a easily visually noticeable amount, and that how i ran it last time i will try to retract and extend then tighten and move it again and se if it continues then if so i will try and find the anchor points again

The issue when we’ve seen this in the past is usually the grid size needing to be bigger. In the next release on the default is going to be to have it compute automatically so folks don’t have to answer “what is the right size” which is a confusing question

would the 0x0 plus 9x9 stay on a 4ft 8 inch midsection table?

I can’t promise that it will, but I’m working on a change right now to fix exactly that

it ended up working fine except for it just ignored the tabs i put on it in krabzcam and just kept cutting all the way through

Great!

The tabs thing is going to be in the generated gcode so I would check out the settings in krabzcam to see if tabs might be turned off there or something like that

It was just weird because it shows the tabs in maslow but it just ignored them when it got to them

Could you copy your nc file here so we can take a look

Could it be that when generating the G-code, the material thickness was greater and there wasn’t enough material left for the tabs?

small box fixed.nc (31.7 KB)

it was a half inch board and i told it to make 1/4 inch tabs

I can’t find any tabs in your code. Which program did you generate the file with? Can you turn on comments in future? Are you using KrabCAM?

i used krabzcam, and weird that it doesn’t show any i definitely had 4 in it and could see them when it was cutting it just didn’t pick them up, and how do comments work?

You can use either style of comments, both work and are ignored by Maslow
