Has anyone found the need to surface waster boards for the Maslow, and if so, what have you learned?

Hi Paul. The Maslow products are sled-based, which means that they ride upon the waste board. If the wasteboard is not straight, the machine will not cut properly. You really can’t surface the wasteboard if it isn’t straight, because you need a straight surface to reference the depth of the cut. To put it simply, you can only surface with a gantry machine. It won’t work on the Maslow.

Thank you. You saved me from going down that rabbit hole.
