# What is the cord used to connect the computer to Maslow 4?

What is the cord used to connect the computer to Maslow 4?

If you mean to run a full install (like if you are updating firmware to v1.0), it’s a USB cable with a USB-C connector at the Maslow end.

In using this USB cord can we skip the wifi usage? It seems to drop a lot, and I cannot use the computer to surf the web if I need to.

I have had good success turning off **Connection monitoring** in **Preferences** (hamburger menu top right, above the **Settings** button). Then if there’s an interruption, the Maslow keeps on keeping on. Wouldn’t do that until I’d successfully calibrated, and your mileage may vary.
