Can the frame just be slightly bigger? What’s the difference?

Maslow calculates it’s position by making triangles with the exact length of the belts. In the current 4.1 design the motors hit the upright supports when the angles get too wide or too narrow which limits accuracy near the edges. Also for the original vertical configuration the two top belts get more and more tension increasing infinitely as they get closer to level at the top. It is impossible to pull a rope straight when there is a weight on it. Play with the frame calculator to get an idea of what sizes and areas work well. In a future iteration it might be possible to move the vertical supports further out or somewhere else so that the angles don’t bump as much. In a horizontal set up you could then go smaller on the frame.
