Worth upgrading to 4.1 hardware?

So I have version a version 4 Maslow and wonder if it’s worth the cost of upgrading to version 4.1. Recently had problems with the reliability of one of the encoders having a bad and intermittent connection which was driving me crazy. Used some hot glue to hold them in position and seems okay at the moment.

Including shipping the cost to upgrade would be over £160.

May question is to those who have upgraded - did you get better reliability? Improved quality?

the key change is the ethernet cables are replaced by a different type of
connector. If you are not having problems with them (for example, you’ve use hot
glue to hold them in place and keep dust out) than everything else in minor.
