It took me a while to figure out what my “hangup” was when working on the color dot puzzle (projects topic). When the spindle was following the lead the clear “top” guard on the Ridged was slightly out of flush. It stopped the z from going any further.The solution I came up with (for now):
I just took advantage of the 90 degree turn on a vacuum formed package from a featherboard. I’m positive it could be done better but I thought I would point out the potential problem and I was glad to find a quick fix and keep cutting!
Tabs that mimic ridged guard and a rubber band from one handle nub to the other to hold it down.
