I’m Roland from Germany.

30 years ago I started an apprenticeship in sign making and worked as a sign maker for several years.
But then I decided to switch to a more agency-like approach. As a process-oriented personality, I switched afterwards to becoming a voice artist.

After 11 years of working as a voice artist (besides always working a little in sign making and pre print), I finally have to think about switching again because of AI threatening my voice talent career.

So I tend to go back to more manual work and …yeah…sign making.

Luckily, I stumbled across the Maslow project when I researched CNC machines.

So far, I’m pretty impressed with the machine itself and I’m looking forward to unpacking the delivery that hopefully arrives in a few days, and certainly to learn and exchange knowledge about things with you.
