I am a retired MIL/GOV IT engineer/manager. I have been forever interested in motion control. I built my first 3D printer (Prusa REPRAP) and a CNC router (Hobby CNC) 20 years ago and have enjoyed experimenting with both. I have also built a delta bot 3d printer and aluminum framed dual extruder 3d printer. I also have experience restoring a Sharp CNC knee mill running Anilam servo motors. I currently use small 3020T table top CNC Mill with Laser, and 3 dual extruder 3d printers. I run Alibre, Sheetcam, Mach3, Eagle (for PCB) and Simplify3D. I have just started experimenting with 3D Scanning with the idea of making things to fit scanned spaces and voids. I have been following the Maslow concept for years and just jumped in to get the Maslow4 with the idea to use it make cuts that match flat planes scanned from voids in boats, vehicles, boxes, Attics, etc.
