WilliamsDad

I am William’s dad. William is a special little boy of the rare kind. He was born with a bum copy of a gene necessary for the development of the insulation on ones nervous system. Without good insulation the signal shorts out and one looses communication between the brain and the periferal motor control of the body. In 2015 at six months old he underwent chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. This essentially stopped the progression of the disease, (usually death by 5), but the damage that was done, doesn’t just automagically fix itself. William only has about 2% effective use of his periferal muscles, arms, legs, trunk core, neck. Which brings me here. Because just like most little boys he loves to draw.
