I doubt. If it’s working for them they won’t sell, if not they might.
Hope for you there is a chance that some build more than one to distribute.
Maybe consider to build your own. Ask and all help will be provided here (from my experience).
Maybe there is an opportunity here for someone to make a plug and play z-axis improvement kit and sell it similar to the linkage kit.
Agreed. It looks like MetalMaslow has one as part of their new kit they are offering but I dont think they are currently interested in selling just pieces. I dont really want to build one unless I have to just because of the time involved but I may have to go that route.
I do have a linear rail I’d like to sell. I bought it when I was having a lot of z-axis issues and thought I would build myself a Meticulous Z-Axis. In the end, I made peace with my router and ended up not using it. It was sold to me as a brand new unit, and I never took it out of the box. Here are the technical details:
machined from plate 6061T6 alu.
3/8-16 SCREW WITH ANTI BACKLASH NUT (16 turn/inch for high torque)
DOUBLE STAINLESS BEARING ON ONE END
1045 STEEL SMOOTH ROD (precision ground)
ACETAL(delrin) SLEEVES, best for dusty environment!
VERY COMPACT UNIT
Only 1.7" thick (front plate to back plate)
FRONT PLATE IS 4" X 5" WITH HOLES FOR 5" OR 6" CONFIGURATION
BACK PLATE IS 4" X 9.750" with 10 mounting holes
OVERALL LENGH IS +/-10.5"(without motor)
EXAMPLE OF STEP/INCH FOR a standard stepper (200step/inch)
Full step = 3200
1/2 step = 6400
1/4 step = 12800
1/8 step = 25600
