This is why people buy baltic birtch plywood, it has much better quality layers in the middle and so it is much nicer to machine.

I updated the Wiki with that tidbit of information. However, itâs in an odd place, in my opinion. To find out information on bits to use and materials, you go to the âMechanicsâ category, then under âConsiderations for highest machine accuracyâ you find âStock Materialsâ. I think these should be moved to another main category, something like âWoodworking Tipsâ or something.

Itâs worked really well on cnczone.com, where they also have a number of subsections, for example. However, every forum Iâve been seriously involved with goes off on a lot of tangents (maybe itâs because they allow Moose?) on many topics (no, not just meâŚ), seems to be part of the whole forum concept
