New Motor Control Board Wish List!

Is there a specific product that allows one to disapate heat from the back of a PCB? I have seen a flesh colored playdo/silicone material used as a thermal bridge between components but do not know what it is called or where to buy?

support for using a stepper as the Z axis (provides the ability to use a lot of
off-the shelf spindles, etc for the machine)

support for higher motor voltages (at least 24v, but up to 48v would be good

support for higher than 2A motor current (our current motors are just barely
good enough and we are running right at the ragged edge of the controller board
capacity, so this is needed to be able to use different motors)

support for controlling spindle speed (PWM output is probably good enough)

spare GPIOs for other purposes (including Z touch-off, control of external
things, etc)

You are right, I like playing with relays most people don’t.
