Hi, I am making my frame for kit on the way. I see the arms and wooden supports are screwed into the plywood sheet that the wood will be mounted on to cut. is that sheet in back the “wasteboard”? If so can’t the router possibly hit those screws when i wil cut through my material? Or do you add a wasteboard as well?
Add a wasteboard over your frame. Yes, you could hit the screws if you didn’t. Doesn’t have to be expensive or overly thick.

I would probably add a wasteboard on top of that but that sheet could be used as a wasteboard. You can also countersink those screws ~.22" and just never cut that deep past your material.
