Ah, well that makes sense I guess.
Might just make a habit of noting it down in threads about different projects then maybe.

As a complete newbie, it would be good to have a guide that says something like what @dlang and @Tore have mentioned above.
Just basic stuff like this is the length and width of the bits, the number of flutes, how that affects things, and when you’d use a ball nose vs a v-bit. Until the two posts above, I had no idea, and really - I still don’t have until I get them and start playing with them.
What would be amazing is if someone identified a kit with a range of beginner bits, ones that are cheap, cover a variety of situations so I could get my feet wet, and then go off with a bit of experience on what I’d need to purchase for the higher quality bits for my main use case.
I apologise if some of that is covered in the build manual etc - I’m still getting the bits together to start my build, and I guess this is where it’s most important to me!
