Over the past week or so I’ve been working on a social media project with lighting. The prototype below was used to test lighting so I could get a better idea of overall size before beginning my capstone project in the spring.
As of today, the capstone project will be 8x8x8 foot cube with a social media icon cut from two sides. The other sides will have doorways to enter and exit the cube. While in the cube microphones connected to a HUE hub will trigger the lights to change when someone speaks. From the outside the cube guests will see human shadows and lights changing color. The cube will be a representation of how immersed we are with social media. More to come over next few months.
