Does the 4.1 firmware support gcode G05 spline commands? What CAD(?) software would generate an acceptable output file. I would like to design and cut templates for old fashion sink and range backsplashes, to be cut with a diamond wet router.

see Supported Gcodes | Wiki.js
it does not look like this firmware supports G05
most CAM software can support many different types of machines, and just about
all of them support GRBL. FluidNC is implementing the GRBL command set, so you
should be able to pick GRBL as your machine type. some systems have a Maslow
type that is basically GRBL without doing any homing routines (which don’t work
on the maslow and may have to be edited out of your starting gcode in your
machine settings)
what CAD/CAM software do you prefer to use?

Thank you for the response. The bottom line is NO. No spline, circular interpolation, or lookahead buffers. No handshake between what you see on a CAD screen, and a cutter path that becomes short flat lines. Over 20 years ago I designed, built, and coded a system for a family members sign shop. I used a TV camera, a frame grabber, and coded a walkaround cutter path, editor, and spline to add accuracy and minimize flat spots when scaling up the output. The system was partially modeled on a Gerber Signmaker and another master font generation and cutting system, and later supplemented with Signlab. NAFTA killed everything
