Maybe a better question is, why do we need to install the python development environment to run holey calibration (“regular” GC does a lot of wiz-bang stuff without the need to install python etc)?
EDIT: @Joshua, I know there is a technical answer, I guess my question is more along the lines of, is there a way to implement holey calibration without the need for users to install python (for example: moving holey code into the firmware, instead of GC?)?
