Copy and paste that I had my wife post on Facebook marketplace! Freshly cut sign to show working operation.
Up for sale is my Makermade m2 cnc machine. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, just trying to make room in my garage for a third car. Included is my hillbilly dust collector that works GREAT as well. This M2 machine includes the dewalt 611 router as the spindle. Will include a few 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch bits as well as an 1/8 inch collet for the router. Also included is an hour of onboarding/training with me on the machine if you want a crash course. Ideally, you’ll have some 3d printing experience or prior cnc experience, as there is a lot of overlap on the basic mechanics and software terminology.
I’ve got hundreds of hours of cuts on the machine and have learned a great deal about cnc and had an incredible amount of fun with it. I bought the machine with zero cnc experience and picked it up pretty quick. While pretty accurate, it’s not a zero tolerance machine. The bigger the cut, the better! But it’s very capable and if you want a cheap cnc machine that cut whole sheets of plywood, there isn’t a better deal. I’ve used it for functional parts, art projects, and various small projects around the house.
This machine has a floor foot print of 3’ x just shy of 9’. It stands 8ft tall as well. Between the motors at the top of the machine, it’s 12’ wide. I kept it between my 3rd car bay and second car bay and it is comfortable.
Ideally, this would be transported whole on a trailer or in a box truck so you don’t have to recalibrate or rebuild the frame. If you need me to disassemble it, which I urge you don’t do, it’ll be another $200.
Price is $700 firm. The kit from Makermade is $1000 alone and doesn’t include the router, extra bits, or sweet dust collector.
