M4.1 - New encoder board contacts close to bearing

Spent the evening assembling the upgrades to the arms only to notice the pins from the JST connector on the encoder board are either touching or extremely close to the bearing (see images). Hopefully wouldn’t cause an issue, but I’d rather be safe than sorry.

If you are in about to start the upgrade process it might be wise to trim down the through hole pins on the bottom of the board prior to installation.

That is a great catch, that is quite close. I haven’t had any issues with them, but trimming them off seems like an excellent suggestion!

thank you david, i probably wouldn’t notice stuff like this & the loose soldering during assembly. now I know to double check these parts. I’m excited to receive my 4.1 kit & start learning. your advice is very appreciated
