M4 Disconnection Error

Yeah, mine creaks a bit too. My gear teeth are getting dirty in a way that looks like wear but it seems to clean off pretty easy, I haven’t noticed much real wear

An update after recalibrating. I got further than it had in the past, but it still crashed near the same spot. I downloaded the log looking for the the same over current error, but the log does not show anything once the GCoode Starts, other than Use tool 1. Is that normal?

I am assuming it would have thrown the same over current error. Top right belt was tighter than the the rest of them. The other three belts seemed about the same tension, so I have made a little progress.

Unless someone has another idea I am going to disassemble and look at the top right arm to see if there is something off in the assembly.

Final update to close this one out.

I took the upper right arm apart, but did not find anything wrong. Updated the firmware and ran calibration again. The cut then ran without issue. I was expecting to see the new over current warning, but it ran without issue.

So, Maybe I fixed something internal, maybe it was the firmware. Not sure

Thanks for the Help

Excellent! Glad to hear it!

What are you making?

I’m guessing a wine rack given all the circles but could be wrong.

Correct.

We all know that you are supposed to spray it into a bag (or a bottle) and sniff the VOCs

When paint tasting, it’s important to get a nice big sniff first and allow the fine aromatics to really saturate your olfactory system before sipping lightly and swishing the pigments around your mouth. Spray paints are often a little too immature for my taste, but the price-point is hard to beat. Lead-based paints often have a much more sophisticated bouquet with notes of leather and brain damage on the tongue.

Looks great! Please share the files, if you don’t mind.

As a design suggestion, you might consider not routing the shelf slots on the sides all the way to the end. The remaining end piece could then act as a natural stop for the shelves. Also, I’m not sure if this is meant to be tabletop or mounted on a wall. If on a wall, then you could maybe even do away with the shelves under the cans and have the can bottoms just rest on the wall.

Although I usually find them too sweet for my palate

Spray Can Full Sheet

I am not the original creator of this design, but I also have no idea where I got it from.
