Maslow 4 is in the house… Order #652 has been completed! And let me say the shipping has improved or should I say the packing. No exploded bags of hardware, box looks mint… Thank you to everyone putting in the hard work to get these out!!!
Jeremy
Thanks to the community feedback! Everything that is improved is because someone told us how to do it better
M4 #597 Arrived today, Norway - All looking good.

Mine arrived yesterday (UK), as far as i can see it all seems fine apart from slight damage to sled as previously seen on other posts, so hopefully won’t cause an issue.
One question i have is concerning duty and tax, i was expecting to be asked to pay import duty prior to arrival but no, got an email from fed ex telling me that it would be delivered and then it was delivered.
Did any other uk users have to pay import or was it all calculated at initially purchase ?
Weird! (But nice!) I would have expected to have to pay customs but if you didn’t that’s great!
Order Number 10302 arrived yesterday in eastern coastal North Carolina. No issues other than the post office didn’t want to deliver it to me. Packing was great. Nothing missing.
Thanks Guys!!
I think I am the first person in Thunder Bay, Ontario to get the M4! Super pumped to get it going!
Packing job looks great!
#10178 - Maslow in the house
Now to find a router in this 240V wilderness
Order 9,992 arrived today in my town north of Boston, Massachusetts. I watched it crawl through the domestic USPS network while packages with later numbers made it as far as Eastern Europe more quickly. Shame on you, US Postal Service.
Box looks good though I haven’t opened it yet.
Mine arrived today in the UK, also no import duty.
No time to open the box yet.
Lucky you, mine will arrive today in Canada (Montreal area): $166 CAD duty fee. Could pay lots of bits for that price, thanks Canada
Must be due to the general election being announced
Just an update on duty got a bill from fedex yesterday for £105 for import duty
Same here
Maslow order# 10024 arrived in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada on May 24. Box was slightly damaged, customs duty was $136ish CAD, minor damage (a couple chips in the sled), that “shouldn’t” interfere with operation, thread locker (blue liquid) leaked in the small bag and covered the heat sinks and magnets (hopefully no issue with that?), finished assembly over the weekend (arthritic hands… took about 8 hrs total) - just need to get the frame setup and calibration - then ready to rock!
Excited to get going - off to the city today to pick up some drop in anchors, bolts and some sheet goods!
Hello, I too am north of Boston. How is your Maslow project progressing, if you dont mind me asking!
I assume you are addressing me?
Unfortunately, I have to undergo a two stage revision of an infected knee replacement and will have surgery week after next and then again around the end of November, so I will not be able to touch my M4 until sometime next spring or summer. I’m sure there will be a huge pile of home projects to work through first.
I’m living vicariously watching you guys find all the problems. Thanks in advance :-).
yes, sorry WFD, I was addressing you! Sorry to hear about your knee and wish you the best. I just bought a Maslow kit, so I may be posting more on this forum. Best of luck with yours once you get around to building/using it!
