Mounting boards to concrete floor

Has anyone got any tips on how to mount the waste board accurately to the concrete floor?. I’m wanting to use pretty much a whole sheet so getting it in the right place is important.

Anyone got any tips?

you really want the waste board larger than the workpiece and have additional
material the same thickness as your workpiece so that the sled doesn’t tip as it
nears the edge

you can special order sheet goods (from a lumberyard, not a big box store)
larger than 4x8 ft

or you can anchor boards down to the ground the same way you mount your anchors,
then put a sheet of plywood in between the boards that you fasten down.

once you have a surfact larger than your workpiece, then you can use the maslow
to cut it to form postioining stops.

IMHO, the best version of this that I’ve seen is to cut a 1/4" slot just the
left of X=0 and just below Y=0, then put a piece of 1/4" material into that slot
and put your workpiece against it.

Someone else posted about this stuff called router pad that does a great job of keeping things from sliding around while you are routing them:

I’ve tried it out and it seems to work quite well

search for non-slip shelf liner, especially in restaurant supply stores and hardware stores (where they use it to keep tools from sliding around in metal drawers)
