No leadscrew nuts from the z-axis stepper motors included in my 4.0 kit? Haylp!

Hi I have just opened the 4.0 kit and am assembling it now, after a year under my bed. I have reached the point where I am assembling the router and the uprights. I have discovered, to my dismay, that the two leadscrew nuts from the z-axis stepper motors are not attached to the threaded bars coming out of the kit. Yikes! :frowning_face_with_open_mouth:

They haven’t worked themselves down to the bottom. They are nowhere to be seen. Can you help?? You don’t sell them separately on the site.

Thank you!

David.

They were on the Z motors on mine from memory.

Yes, and that seems to be the way they come. I have looked carefully for them but they are not there. Some people don’t see them because they are screwed all the way down - flush to the motor, but that’s not the case here.

I have found a supplier of lead screw nuts in the UK, which is closer to me. They do sell something that looks a bit like what is missing from my kit, but I can’t be sure. If I had the specifications of the Maslow leadscrew nuts, then I would be able to see if these were a good replacement. Have we got a tech. spec. for the lead screws that come with the stepper motors?
One or two look very similar to what came with the Maslow. For example:

There is technical drawing showing the exact dimensions of the leadscrew nuts sold in this website also:

That is very strange! We don’t have them as stand alone parts, but I will DM you a code for new stepper motors.

Hi @bar I have messaged you requiring some extra info for the shipment of the lead screws. They have arrived in my country but they need some documentation. Thanks!

What kind of documentation are they looking for? Do they need something more than the invoice (receipt) you get when ordering them?
