thanks for the reply David, I haven’t been able to find any guidance on how to upgrade the firmware via the USB port, if I disable WiFi will it automatically switch to the USB connection?
It would be wonderful to have some order to find the information. It took me a long time to find this video, which I also plan to update with my new board.
Replying to the thread, I recived the new board and its working so far. I am setting up my cutting area now.
I think I’m seeing a similar issue. I finished building the 4.1 kit and not getting both z-axis steppers to move, just one. The one connected next to the USB port doesn’t seem to work but if I connect it to the other port it does fine. I tried flashing to 1.07 firmware as well, but no change.
I just sent you a DM with a code for a free replacement!
I believe that I have the same issue. I just finished my setup and both of the stepper motors work if plugged into one side of the control board but neither works plugged into the other side.
I will DM you a code too!
Hi Bar,
I got the new control board installed and it seems to work fine. I completed the calibration but when I went to put a bit in the router, I noticed that the button pusher didn’t reach the button and it’s because the bottom clamp has a crack and is sagging. Also, one bolt pulled through an attachment point on the other side. See the attached photo of the crack. Your website says the clamps are sold out, but is that true? I’m happy to pay for it, if you have one.
Regards,
Andy
Unfortunately they are actually sold out, but I’m working to get them back in stock ASAP. I should have some by next week ![]()
OK. Please let me know when they arrive.
Regards,
Andy

If you have access to a 3d printer, feel free to use this one.
Wait, I think that the part that you are looking for is this one, is that right?
Those should be in stock
Yes, exactly. I just ordered it. Thanks.

Andy

Price: CAD 16.00
Those should be in stock
I don’t have access to a 3D printer, so I will be able to get it faster from Maslow, but thank you for the file. It was a good idea.
Hi Bar,
Can you check on this order? Shop has been showing it in the “preparing shipment” stage for about 3 days and it was ordered on the 22nd.
Thanks,
Andy
I just messaged the warehouse to see what it’s status is. I know that they had some layoffs this week which might be leading to a bit of chaos.
