I can see there have been a few threads on routers for 240v. The creators have said to buy the dewalt D26200. Can someone put exactly what needs modifying for this to work please? There so many ideas flying around in the other threads! I do have a 3D printer is that makes like easier?
Want to start the build but I also wanted to make sure I brought the right thing etc! Thank you all!

the dewalt will work without any modifications (other than the problem of the
cord being in the way), but the dewalt is pricy

look at the router-b-gone threads, they replace the router with a CNC spindle,
this is much quieter and you can print the adapter to make it fit.
However, I’ve not actually fitted it yet. I have 3d printed the sleeve that @bar supplied but I just haven’t had the time to do the last few bits.
The sleeve does however seem to fit it quite nicely so I’m feeling more confident than before!
Edit regarding David’s post, I wanted to go with a palm router first just because it’s closer to what I’m supposed to use for the maslow. However, I do plan to upgrade to a spindle once I’m more familiar with everything and then I will have a spare palm router.
I think almost any router can work. You may just have to super glue the top to the router instead and 3d print the spacer or wrap some tape around the spindle . I Haven’t tried it. That’s just the opinion I got while browsing these forums. And researching what router to get ( you can search for the spindle diameter) Ultimately I ended up buying the suggested router because one issue I heard may be that you’ll sacrifice depth of cut because the Dewalt router spindle is longer than standard routers like the suggested makita alternative . I bought a used router from eBay so look there if you want to because there may be some available in your country
