4.1 out of stock!

I have been eyeing maslow for a week or so, and have been going back and forth about buying it. Add to cart, delay remove add to cart … you know the drill. Today I decided I’m getting it and thought of getting another for my father as a late father’s day gift if it works well with me.

Lo and behold, the day i decide to buy it goes out stock.

Enough of my rant, i wanted to ask, is it coming back in stock anytime soon? Is there anywhere else to get it (maybe a user with an unopened one in a box who doesn’t have the time), and a few questions about it’s performance.

My main goal is to do a few CNC panels tribal pattern panels for my shop, i know it’s good for this. Dimensional accuracy not that important as long as it looks good. I also want to make some home furniture and this is my real question. Straight lines and angles. How straight are maslow’s straight lines? How accurate are its angles? These are important assembly considerations. If it really is within 0.5mm accuracy then that’s amazing.

Unfortunately it’s going to be several months before they are back in stock

I put together a wait list page that you can put an email in if you want to be notified when they are back in stock: Maslow4 Waitlist — Maslow

I had the same question, when can we hope to see the units back in stock? Is there anything we/I/the community can do to help you? You mentioned in one of your videos funding the next round of kits with another Kickstarter campaign. Just let us know what you need, and I’m sure, with all the talent and interest in this community, we can find a way to help.

The main thing that is slowing things down is that I really want to launch a fully assembled machine and so that is getting a lot of my focus right now.

I think that the 4.1 kit is awesome and it’s a really great value for people who want a kit, but a decent percentage of folks who buy it really just want something that they can take out of the box and use right away (a totally reasonable request) so I want to have both options.

Also the kit version is probably not financially sustainable long term on it’s own so in order to be able to keep selling kits we probably also need to have a more expensive assembled version too anyway.

I don’t have a good answer yet for what you can do to help, but I am planning to publish all of the files for the prototype of the assembled version as soon as I have something which at least kinda sorta works and get feedback and contributions from the community. I think it would be really awesome to be able to incorporate everyone’s input more directly before we even do the first molds.

We’re here, and I’m sure many would be happy to roll up their sleeves and help in any way you need.
