M4 sales timeline?

@bar now that you are nearing shipping the first units to backers can you provide a rough timeline of when they will go on sale. I missed the Kickstarter while deployed.

The bad news is that I can’t give you an exact date. I think that we will probably open up orders again after the insider edition kits and batch #1 kits have shipped, while we are waiting for the batch #2 parts to arrive, but it will really depend on how smoothly that process is going and when we have the time to do it right.

The good news is that we are currently wrapping up ordering parts for batch #2 + and we’re ordering some extra parts so after the last of the Kickstarter kits ships we are hoping to have some in stock and ready to ship right away.

TLDR: We’re not ready to take your money, but we are working on getting you a machine as fast as possible.

Don’t forget to join the email list on the website, that’s where we’ll send out the link to order when we are ready.

I also missed the kickstarter :frowning:
I wanted to order the previeus and just then i saw there was a new one!
I’m a little impatiently waiting for the Maslow 4 to be available now.

We’re working as fast as we can! :grinning:

We want to take your money, but we also want to do it in a responsible way that puts the people who already ordered them as our main priority

Hi Bar,

Do you already know the retail price?

i was looking arround and found the previeus version from makermade but they asked €160 for shipping and i problebly needed to pay an extra €120 in taxes!
This was before i founded your video on youtube from 2 months ago about them :frowning:

Greetings!

We don’t know the price yet. We would like to keep the price the same as the Kickstarter, but we need to make sure that we don’t lose money on the KS kits first :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi Bar,
Do you know how long the maslow 4 wil be availeble?
I am a beginner woodworker and my shop isn’t quit reddy yet, and i am realizing i might need my fundings for other machines first.
But the maslow is defienetly on my list!

the intent is that they should be available until there is a maslow 5 (or

I am already curius for the maslow 5
Will the maslow 5 be on wheels so it drives itself around? Ore hovecraft like, so it also instantly blows away the sawdust? (Theoretical infinit workspace, depening on the power cord lengt, ore use batery’s?)
On vertical surfaces it use sticky wheels?
Ore spider like with legs, and each leg is a suction cup so it can even work upside down!
Then u can save space by hanging it on your ceiling?
So many idee’s! Ore just to mush fantasy?
Kinde whant the maslow 5 already :face_with_peeking_eye:

I think the next logical step for the Maslow family would be the addition of a device like in the “Honey I shrunk the kids” movies. The workflow would include shrinking the workpiece before cutting and un-shrinking it after cutting. The whole machine would fit within a suitcase.
