I just saw this and it reminded me of Maslow - and especially the discussions on bottom corner tension, and adding secondary cords/chains etc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHTizZ_XcUM&list=WL&index=8
Maybe something useful in there - the code calculates which steppers need to wind/unwind at the same time to hit a 2d point. Some of the software is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rlmhdjoqzyumme1/darts.zip?dl=0
Wow! That is amazing! What a cool build
Very cool build. Perfect use case for the ODrive controller (https://odriverobotics.com/#odrive) could eliminate steppers, but super fast and accurate.
Gotta toot my brother’s horn(who is a lot smarter than i am). The company he started did pretty much the same thing in 2010 for National Instruments trade show: https://youtu.be/HV5-kWDSHfM
Have to admit I did think of my brother’s demo when i first saw maslow. BTW my brother was very impressed when i showed him a video of maslow in operation, he thought it was very innovative.
