Adjust Z value depending on thickness of material

Would it be advantageous to be able to set the thickness of the material to be cut in order to adjust the Z values to compensate for difference in height of the M4 above the configuration values?

Very possibly, it depends on two things

  1. how different the material you are cutting is compared to what you calibrated
    on.

  2. The larger the distance from where the anchors are to where the arms are, the
    more it will matter

We have talked about adding a material thickness entry. I’ll add it to me to-do
list since I plan to be making some changes in that area of the firmware going
forward.
