Question:

1.Did anybody use nuts to secure the leadscrew nut from the z-axis stepper motors to the second router clamp?

  1. Did anyone use silicon grease between the belt spool and the arm?

I used loctite on the screws from the stepper motors and did put a touch of grease on the belt spool.

I used this Dupont dry ceramic coating. Be careful with grease. It may be a magnet for dust and particles.
