Belt Jam under Belt Guard

When trying to get through my initial calibration procedure the belt seems to have gotten jammed underneath the guard.

Is there any good way to try to recover from this scenario without having to disassemble the whole unit and take that arm apart? Any advice to prevent this?

Thank you

As you get more used to using the machine and seeing what is sort of normal and expected behavior that will get easier to prevent.

To extract the belt without taking things apart you can use the command “$BRO” (bottom right out) entered here:

It’s kind of a hidden feature because you can pretty easily break things with those commands. Basically it will overide every safety check and give the bottom right motor full power in the out direction

You can also use $BRI if you want to go the other way

Thanks for the tips that worked great for clearing out the jam! Unfortunately the belt came out of the other side pretty mangled so I guess I will be having to rebuild anyway

If the mangle is near the end you might be able to cut it out. It depends how big your frame is too.
