Belt length of the 4.1 complete kit

I’ve assembled the arms using the packaged belts and wrapped as much onto the spools as possible. There is still over a meter of belt beyond the full spool. Is this normal? Won’t this cause a retraction issue? I doubt that the whole belt will retract inside the arms.

This does not seem quite right, you shouldn’t have that much left over. When you have it on the machine, you can extend the belts right out, then retract them which will pack the belts properly.
There are a couple of methods to extend belts completely:
Method 1:
Go into setup and Click on CONFIG and set Retraction force to a low number (200), this stops the Maslow from retracting the belts. Save,
then click on Retract All, then Extend All.
Repeat Retract All Extend All until all the belts are all the way out. Go back into Config and reset the Retraction force to initial value (900). Then do a final Retract all (may need to repeat the Retract All more than once.
Alternate Method (does not involve changing Config values):
Go to Setup
Do initial Retract All followed by Extend All
Hold belt to prevent Retraction and Click on Retract All, followed by Extend All
Repeat until all the belt is out.
Then do Retract All while not holding belt (May need to repeat)
You can do this on each belt sequentially or multiple belts if you can prevent them from retracting.
Hope this helps.

the belt packs much tighter when it’s being retracted by the motor than when you
retract it manually, it will all fit.
