Board position on frame

Is there any benefit (belt tension/angle) to have the waste board/cutting area located lower than center of the frame for the vertical orientation?? My frame dimensions are roughly 8’x12’. The belts will be pulling really hard to cut the top of the panel if located in the center. Is there a way give it a different center location lower on the frame assembly.

look at Bar’s frame calculator Anchor Point Layout Simulator

there are multiple constraints that you can run into and with a small frame,
trying to move down may avoid one but run into another.

there is not a way to give it a different center location, you would just set
home to the appropriate place on your workpiece.

Yes! I leave mine a bit lower than the middle for exactly that reason
