I finally have time to assemble the maslow 4.1 kit I purchased. As I was unboxing, I found some shards of plastic that broke off. Is this something I can 3d print or how can I get a replacement?

Printing the original parts is sometimes tricky as they were designed for injection molding. The one piece three d print replacement looks useful.
When I designed the InnerSupport I made them a little shorter than the original, to take up some of the slack in the arms, so you need to print 4 and the 2 slugs for the guides. I also used hot glue to stop the bearings falling out. Careful and not too much, don’t get glue inside the bearing. You will also need longer 3mm bolts. I would also suggest the Turtle clamps as a replacement for the existing clamps.
I just kicked off printing the (4) inner supports and (2) spacers. I’m still in the very early assembly stages so I’m not completely sure where these will go… but I’m hoping it will be obvious when the time comes. Thanks!

how much longer?
I like to use these 14mm bolts (replacing the 12mm bolts) as the heads fit the
holes better, the allen wrench is MUCH more reliable in these taller heads, and
the added 2mm better engages the nylock nuts

I’m using 20mm I got at hardware store
I went ahead and assembled with the turtle clamps and the single piece inner support pieces but I am seeing this gap when fully assembled… Its unclear if I have the turtle clamps in the proper orientation. Anyone have thoughts?
The router appears to be in upside down?
Aside from that - I’m not sure what gap you’re refering to - can you circle it in the picture? It looks generally right but flip the router and take the photos again and I’ll confirm

in the turtle clamp post is if the metal edge of the router is supposed to be flush with the plastic, or if this gap is appropriate.

That gap is not the worry, the thing we are worrying aobut is the fact that the
motors on the arm seem to be towards the bit, they should be pointed up when the
router bit is pointed down.

TLDR - it’s fine, but check the button pusher works.
So the printed uprights you’re using are slightly shorter than the stock Maslow ones (the stock ones are possibly slightly longer than they need to be). So the router can be inserted slightly further.
Even with that, the Turtle clamp should still bottom out without the router fouling the acrylic I think (as you give up a few mm of Z-travel for stiffness with it). I actually run some uprights I designed to go with the Turtle clamps that I’ve still not uploaded, so I can’t say that 100%, but I’m fairly confident.
I would check that the button pusher still works with it slightly further in though - I believe it should still be fine, but worth a check.

Great! A top tip is to keep the screws for the Z-motors slightly loose until the rest of the assembly is complete and snug them up last.
