Even though I’m 48 with a 3.5 year old, I’m young at heart…
Don’t forget young at heart grandparents. Our first grandkid is due in the next month

We had soccer, figure skating, track, basketball, diving, etc but watch out for the greatest risk for spending many years on the road, travel hockey.
Plus the never ending “Daddy, I need”. It won’t end even after they make it over 30, although Mom’s an easier mark so they usually start with her

I have an 18 year old that just moved out… his last 6 years at home aged me more than the first 6 years of the twins, if you follow.
Young is a state of mind! 
at least that is what I tell myself when chasing after my 6 and 3 year olds
