Cherrywood and Epoxy Resin End Table

Learned a lot about using Fusion 360, and about working with hardwood. Going to take this idea to the next level with my next project.

I had the feed rate set way too high at first which resulted in the need to abort in the middle of cutting the outside circle when vibrations shook a part loose on my z-axis unit (yikes!). There was a lot of chatter on the outside edge and the inside cuts were a little misshapen, so there was a lot of hand cleanup afterwards. Once I slowed the feed rate down to 300 mm/min, and changed my depth to 1 mm per pass, it worked great. Lesson learned–if the sled is not moving smoothly at all, stop and slow the feed rate and or depth of cut. Anyway, I’m super happy with the way this came out.
