Default links to "open in new tab"

Would it be possible (and desired) to have external links default to “open in new window” mode?

(include the target=_blank or whatever that HTML is)?

Bruce,

This is a setting in your user account.

  1. Click your icon in the upper right hand side
  2. Click the small gear in the window that pops up
  3. Click “Interface” on the left
  4. Check “Open all external links in a new tab” under “Other”
  5. Click “Save Changes”

I’ll look into whether this can be changed at the global level but I suspect not.

Hey, thanks a bunch! Never thought about checking for a user level setting…

That will let people “have it their way” which is great.
