Every mistake I've made so far

Figured I’d catalogue these mistakes and I’m sure I’ll add more soon.

Over tightened the screws on the arms to the point some of the plastic bulged out. Did a bit of light sanding the few spots I messed that up.

Hadn’t tightened things holding the router well enough. The router itself was rotating making it hard/impossible to reach the button. Huge waste of time.

Bring overly curious. I played with how little I pulled on the belt during retraction and caused some slack which later got jammed. At least I’m pretty sure that’s the cause. This was the cause of my belt damage.

Used the remaining portion of the belt and assumed that I could test how far my short belt could reach by just extending it. It pulled out of the spool breaking the plastic bit that holds it there.

Pressing release tension believing that I would subsequently be able to press apply tension. Honestly this one still confuses me. I’m not sure why it’s not possible, but that currently the way it works.

Knocking the heatsink off one of the motor controller chips during a firmware upgrade. Just a clumsy move on my part.

Started the Maslow before setting z home position. Also I hadn’t even started the router. Dragging the bit across the material.

Oh and pulling on the wires to dislodge the motor controller cables, but I didn’t cause problems and didn’t repeat that mistake. Lapse in judgement for sure.

For sure a few other minor mistakes. Oh today I put the belt end on before putting the belt spool together. Had to undo that and feed it through.
