FreeCAD Parametric Shelf
I needed a good practice project for the Maslow and I needed some new shelves for our pantry. I designed the shelf in FreeCAD and all of the dimensions are defined in a spreadsheet within FreeCAD. This gives me the ability to change adjust the shelf dimensions as needed to fit the space. I also used FreeCAD’s path workbench to simulate the cutting paths and generate the g-code.
I cut out three 16in deep shelves and one 12in deep shelf, everything went smoothly. They are nothing special, but they all fit together nicely and are functional.
