GroundControl losing position

I am doing a full size cut (4’x8’) with my Maslow that has a 12’ beam and the beam is about 2.5’ above the work area. For this, I am using roughly 14’ chains. I am setting the home at the lower left corner of the plywood. If I start a cut and hit stop, GroundControl throws a warning that it cant calculate because of unknown chain lengths. I then have to go through the chain length calibration again to get it to work again. I only notice this behavior when the sled is at the extents of the workpiece. As a test, I then let it start in the lower left corner and cut horizontally until it got more in the bottom center before hitting stop. That worked fine.

Is there a setting I am missing or is this a bug? Thanks.

Look in the Advanced settings for the ‘Chain Length’ and try setting that to 4267 mm to accommodate the longer chains.

That should do it… I guess I need to go set my chain length, I didn’t think it was really used, but I see it is.

Done. That makes sense. Thanks!
