I’m having some issues with carving the turkey. The lip of the sled keeps catching on the wings and drumsticks. Anybody got any solutions?

Slow your FEED rate way down. Remember, you want nice sized slices, not little bitty chunks. Maybe a shallower DOC, and a slower RPM?

Oh no, it’s much more nuanced than that. The history behind the holiday is that the Puritan settlers in Massachusetts Bay held a feast to celebrate their survival in the harsh conditions for which they were poorly prepared. Now it’s an excuse for a day off work, a big meal, American football, and of course, the start of the Christmas shopping season, just like the Puritans envisioned.
